I am so proud of make-up artist and friend Kate Lindsey. This season she was keying her first fashion show at LFW. Kate used to be Georgina Graham's first assistant until a few years ago, and is a very talented make-up artist in her own right. She asked me if I would first assist her for the show, and so I needed to go to the fitting too.
We all met at Karmarama on Farringdon Road, including two Sleek make-up representatives, as they were sponsoring the show. The collection was late 60s inspired and so this reflected in the hair and make-up. Kate went for individual false lashes applied to the top and bottom of the eyes, a black liquid liner, a bright green eyeshadow through the eye socket, Be Beautiful Blemish Balm to give a matte finish to the skin, and Sleek/PPQ Truly Mattely Deeply in Soul on the lips, topped with a clear gloss. Everyone loved the look first time so Kate didn't need to trial out any other looks, well done Kate!!!
