London Fashion Week

Sunday 20th September
Made up the models for the Julian James Smith show. Andrew Gallimore keyed the look. The idea with the make-up was to give the illusion of a lift to the eye. The products used were sublime nature paint, sublime nature paint mixed with blacktrack, and to highlight, strobe liquid mixed with frozen white pigment. A small section of #42 lashes was added to the lash line, about a third of the way in from the outer corner of the eye.

Ami Barwell Video Shoot

Monday 3rd August:

Was asked to do the make-up for a video shoot to launch a new range of Ami Barwell print T-shirts for Ben Sherman. The make-up had a very rock, grungy feel to it, lots of heavy black eyes and nude lips. You can take a look at the video on the Ben Sherman website....

Electric Dolls Photo Shoot

Friday 31st July:

Made up the girls from the band Electric Dolls, along with another make-up artist. The pictures were shot by photographer Joseph Sinclair. There were two looks for the make-up. The first was 1950's Hollywood Glamour, very Marilyn Monroe in 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'. And the second, lots of false lashes with a strong lip.

ID Magazine Cover Shoot

Tuesday 7th July:

Assisted Make-Up Artist Mathias von Hooff for an ID magazine cover and beauty shoot (Sept 09 issue). The models Jourdan Dunn, Arlenis Sosa, Sessilee Lopez and Chanel Iman were shot by photographer Emma Summerton, with fashion direction from Edward Enninful. The theme of the shoot was 'Biker girl meets YSL'. It was amazing to work with such wonderful people, and Jourdan looked really cute with her little baby bump!

Check out some of the pictures I took on the shoot below, and also a link to the behind the scenes video!
