Short film starring Upen Patel and Helen Flanagan

I was asked to do the make-up for the first day of filming a short film for the festival circuit, directed by and starring Bollywood actor Upen Patel.  British actress Helen Flanagan had the lead female role.  Upen is totally lovely and really laid back, a dream to work with.  The Crown Plaza hotel by Gloucester Road was where the filming took place, which was quite tricky at times as there was a lot of noise to contend with from the hotel guest when we were trying to film.  There was even a Halloween party happening in the next room at one point, with loud music blaring out, so we certainly had some challenges!  We finally wrapped around 2am, there were still scenes to shoot outside, but by this point it was absolutely pissing it down with rain.   I was definitely ready for my bed by then anyway!
