Ponystep magazine

Monday 23rd July

Somehow managed to arrive on time to this shoot assisting Georgina Graham, after stupidly getting the wrong train to Waterloo instead of Victoria, what a nincompoop!  So had to jump in a cab, and of course when you really want a taxi they are no where to be seen!  But it all ended fine, thank god!  Can certainly do without that stress first thing on a Monday morning!  Obviously was still half asleep!

We used the photographers flat on Pimlico Road as a base to get the models ready, and Andreas Larsson shot the models in the surrounding streets.  He had also hired out one of those really old buses with the steps going up the back for some of the pictures.  The ceiling of it was painted bright yellow which looked really cool in the pictures contrasting against the red of the bus, and the colours in the clothes.  The styling was really amazing and had a nineties feel to it, but the idea was that the clothes didn't look to 'fashiony'.  The pictures were shot in a portrait style and the models were told not to 'model' too much, and to just look really natural.  So Georgina could just see what outfit the models were going to wear and get a feel for the make-up from that.  Many of them were kept natural.  One of the models was this stunning mature lady and she did get a full face of make-up, she looked amazing!  It was very colourful.  I will post the pics once the magazine comes out...........
