This year it was Peter Jensen's turn to showcase his work. The London-based designer is known for his upbeat, colourful garments which deftly manage to be both wearable and unconventional at the same time. Each of Jensen’s collections are based around a particular female muse, from historic figures, to film characters, to members of his family and over 20 of them have inspired his work to date. Fashion in Motion focused on Jensen’s men's and womenswear from the past decade including pieces from his most recent collections as well as collaborative pieces, accessories and items that have adorned his shows.
Janeen Witherspoon from Julian Watson agency was keying the look. We used products by Mac Cosmetics. Yoghurt eyeshadow was buffed all over the eye, with a thin blacktrack liner along the lash line. A pink paint stick was buffed on to the apples of the cheeks, and the cheeks were also softly contoured. Pretty please lipstick was applied to the lips, with Tanamara lipstick dabbed over the top, in the centre of the lip. A shimmery loose powder by another brand was used on the eye over Yoghurt eyeshadow, and to highlight the face on the temples, cheekbones, nose, and cupids bow.
